Trainee in the Maltese Translation Unit of the European Parliament. 

The main responsibility is of translating European Parliament 

documents (such as Minutes of Committee Meetings, Conference of 

Presidents, Conference of Parties, Official Journals, Petitions to the 

Parliament, Resolutions, Oral and Written Questions and Declarations) 

from English and Italian into Maltese, with the help of CAT tools; such 

as SDL Trados Studios 2014 and other search tools. The traineeship is 

conducted with revision and mentoring by a senior terminologist. I was 

also involved in working on new terminology to publish in IATE.
